We would like to make you aware that we are holding public engagement events in Peterborough during the Draft Local Plan consultation period. Annual Parish Meeting

Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic 2025
Bridgehill Road, Newborough, Peterborough – Notice 25-323
The Council of the City of Peterborough hereby gives notice pursuant to section 14(2)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 that from the 11/03/2025 no vehicle shall proceed along the road known as Bridgehill Road, Newborough as lies between Guntons Road and Gunthorpe Road.
This Notice is made in the interest of safety because of emergency cable renewal works and will remain effective whilst there is a risk of public danger but not for more than 21 days.
Access will be maintained to properties affected by this Notice.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Notice is via: Werrington Bridge Road, B1443 Thorney Road, Guntons Road and vice versa.
It is anticipated that these works will take place between the 11/03/2025 and the 13/03/2025.
The Notice shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which it is made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
